Privacy policy

Daizen Services runs this website, the Vijaya Rise platform, Vijaya Jobs and Vijaya Learn. This policy explains what personal data we collect, why, who can see it and the choices you have. For any privacy question or request, write to privacy@vijayarise.com.
If you are a job seeker or student
When you upload a resume, join, apply for a job or take a course, we collect:
- your name, email address and phone number;
- your job title, industry, city, country and years of experience, where you give them;
- your resume file and the text in it;
- the jobs you apply for and their status;
- the courses you take, your assessment scores and any certificate issued;
- payments you make for a resume rewrite or a course (the amount and a payment reference, never your card details).
We use this to consider you for jobs, show your profile to recruiters, give you a free AI check of your resume, deliver services you buy and issue certificates.
We rely on your consent. We only store your profile after you tick the consent box. You can withdraw it at any time by deleting your account.
Who can see your profile and resume
- Recruiters at Daizen Services.
- Employers who are paying customers of our platform, only if you ticked the separate box allowing it. It is off unless you turn it on, and you can change it under My resume.
- The employer whose job you apply to, for that application.
- Every time a recruiter opens or downloads your shared resume, we record it, and you can see the count.
We do not sell personal data and we do not use it for advertising.
AI resume check
Your resume text is sent to an AI service provider to produce your score and suggestions. The report is guidance for you and for recruiters. It does not make hiring decisions: a person reads your resume before any decision about you is made. The AI is instructed not to consider name, gender, age, ethnicity, religion or similar characteristics.
If you contact us as an employer
We store the name, company, email, phone number and message you send so we can reply and follow up about your enquiry.
If your employer uses Vijaya Rise
Your employer decides what employee data is kept in its workspace and is responsible for it. Daizen Services stores and processes that data on the employer's behalf. Ask your employer's HR team about access, correction or deletion.
Service providers
We use other companies to run the service. They may process personal data only on our instructions:
- a hosting and database provider, which stores the data;
- an AI provider, for resume analysis;
- Razorpay, for payments.
These providers may store or process data in countries other than yours. Where the law requires it, we use appropriate safeguards for such transfers.
How long we keep data
- Your profile and resume: until you delete your account or ask us to delete them.
- Applications: with the employer you applied to, under that employer's own policy.
- Records of consent and payment: for as long as the law requires us to keep proof.
- Enquiries: until the enquiry is closed and no longer needed.
Your rights
Depending on where you live, you may have the right to:
- see and download your data: use Download my data under My resume;
- correct it: edit your profile at any time;
- delete it: use Delete my account under My resume;
- withdraw consent, object to or restrict how we use it;
- complain to the data protection authority in your country.
You can also send any of these requests to privacy@vijayarise.com. We answer within 30 days.
Children
This service is for people aged 18 or over. We do not knowingly collect data from children.
Cookies
We use one essential cookie to keep you signed in. We do not use advertising or tracking cookies.
Security
Passwords are stored hashed, connections are encrypted, access is limited by role, and sensitive actions are logged. No system is perfectly secure; if a breach affects you, we will tell you and the authorities as the law requires.
Changes
If we change this policy in a way that affects you, we will update the date above and ask for your consent again where needed.
